Meet KVH
Kristen’s passion for health and fitness is rooted in both personal experience and a deep commitment to helping others thrive. She launched and led a successful nutrition program at Prowess Fitness + Nutrition in Seekonk, MA for six years before founding KVH Wellness to continue empowering individuals to improve their health and overall well-being.
A lifelong athlete, Kristen competed in high school tennis and cross country running before rowing for Brown University, where she won back-to-back national championships and was later inducted into the Brown Athletic Hall of Fame. She returned to tennis after college and continues to play in USTA and SNEITA leagues today. She has also dedicated years to long-distance running—qualifying for the Boston Marathon twice—and strength training, deepening her understanding of how nutrition fuels performance, energy, and overall health.
As both a former Division I athlete and an experienced behavior-change coach, Kristen understands that performance is shaped by much more than workouts alone. Nutrition, recovery, sleep, stress, mindset, and consistent daily habits all influence how someone feels and performs. Her coaching helps clients identify the highest-impact opportunities and turn them into realistic habits that fit their lives.
Through KVH Wellness, Kristen helps clients build sustainable habits to improve body composition, performance, energy, confidence, and long-term health. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Brown University, an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, and certifications in Healthy Steps Nutrition, Precision Nutrition - Level 1, and Stacy Sims Menopause 2.0.
Kristen lives in Barrington, RI, with her husband, Patrick, and children, Latham and Lizzie.
